America's Family Values

by Dr. Albert F. Spencer

This is a photo of my step-son, Russell’s, wedding. The picture shows nine smiling, happy family members. My wife Sue, who is standing next to me, was adopted two decades before the Rowe v. Wade decision legalized abortion in the United States. Had Sue been born after this Supreme Court decision there is a very good likelihood that she would not have been born. If she had been aborted, neither her son, Russell, daughter, Flannery, or three wonderful grandchildren, Sydney, Kaelyn, and Taylor would have lived either. If abortion had been “legally” permitted, it is quite probable that only three people on this photo would have been born. There would have been no weddings, mine with Sue, Chris with Flannery, or Russell with Sarah. Nor would there have been three beautiful children. Abortion would have denied not one life, but five other lives which followed as well. They would never have enjoyed the opportunity for the “Right to Life, Liberty, or the Pursuit of Happiness.” For more on family values, and the effect of pro-choice abortion on the economy, social security, military strength, and other inter-related issues, please read “Not a Singular Issue” in our web-site menu.
